Artefactos Alterados
Artefactos Alterados is an anthropological study of found materials, reborn as timeless creations through the craft and curation of Georgina Treviño. For this show, I aimed to elevate ordinary artifacts from the ’90s, Y2K era, and Mexican culture through anthropological display. I used lighting, color, and textures within the gallery space to reflect the jewelry being exhibited back into the environment.

After a successful gallery showcase for Atrefactos Alterados, Georgina wanted to find a way to connect with the local, Portland, artist community. To support her initiative, we helped her collaborate with Converse to host a weekend of events, Georgina & Friends, which included a workshop, dinner, and after party.
