THE ONE/OUR TURN
As Jordan Brand launched a new consumer proposition, Our Turn, it was critical to provide an opportunity for consumers to take their turn. We were inspired by Michael Jordan's daily 1-v-1 battles with his brother Larry in their backyard. We recreated this backyard scenario on a global scale—searching for the best unknown 1-v-1 players, ages 15–18, from around the world. This culminated at District 23 in Paris on 7.26.24, live-streamed on Twitch to a global audience—for a chance to earn a one-year partnership with Jordan Brand.
As a designer, I was tasked with finding high-level expressions, large-scale OOH, and social moments that Jordan Brand could leverage to push the messaging of Our Turn and The One. A major moment they needed to address was the possibility of their two biggest players facing off in the finals — and how to celebrate both of them on social media.
