The Sociology of Community​​​​​​​
Emerson Collective came to us wanting to build a toolkit for developing community with those around you. As a company, Emerson Collective had gathered a wealth of knowledge about how to cultivate and maintain community. Building on the metaphor of mycelium and its interconnected network of roots, I developed cellulose textures, mycelium iconography, and a warm retro color palette that invites the reader to dive deeper into the study.
The book shown below is a prototype I built from scratch in-house.
